The National Library of Armenia houses the Printing Museum, where valuable prints and exceptional exhibits are kept. The first Armenian book printed in 1512, the "Friday Book", is kept here.
Here is the first printed Bible, the first printed map, "Hamatarats Shhgatsootsi", the first printed periodical, "Azdarar". During the exhibition, one can see printing presses, presses, woodblocks, clichés, unique models of the press and other valuable samples.
The museum is great for informal education as it is filled with new technology. Here you can get acquainted with printing methods using a holographic device.
